DAI XXX company is a ore mining and processing company in Vietnam. They have many mineral resources such as marble mineral, iron ore and limestone. Their products include many industries such as chemical industry, hardware, construction material and decorating materials. With the improvement of the living standards of Vietnam people, they raised their demands of the material of interior design and household equipment. The beautiful marble plank is the first choice.
Currently the artificial marble products in Vietnam are mainly imported from China and Southeastern countries. The fact that Vietnam lacks independent production line provides an opportunity of development under the circumstance of unbalance between market demand and market blank. In addition, the marble mineral of the Vietnam customer has high content of calcium carbonate. The white is more than 97. The natural conditions are rather superior.
The customer is really interested in the promising future perspective of the market of artificial marble mineral. They plan to build the first artificial marble plank production line by different stages. First, they would build a new workshop with the area of about 90000 square meters near the mine in Nghe An. Second, they would purchase the main production equipment of artificial marble mineral, including artificial brick press, Raymond mill, large cutting machine, plank sander and polishing machine. In the third stage, they would sell the trial product of artificial marble plank to the market of capital Hanoi.
After the workshop has been built and the equipment is ready, taking the mineral resources of high quality into consideration, the customer thought all things are OK and began the trial production. Unfortunately, it was not until the trial production did the customer detected problem of the fineness of the product. The Raymond mill cannot produce powder products that can meet the requirements which caused suspension to the production line. Because of lack of experience during selection of powder grinding mill, the customer chose the low end Raymond mill for its low cost. After debugging and modifying for many times, the powder product of Raymond mill still cannot meet the demands of fineness for artificial marble plank. Faced by such problem, the several bosses of the customer are all very anxious and manage to figure out a solution.
At the beginning of 2016, the boss of the customer took his team in person to visit the artificial marble manufacture enterprises and powder grinding mill manufacture enterprises in China. They especially came to Quanzhou, Fujian which is known as the city of stone material in China to consult the professionals. Later on, the boss of the customer contacted us Vsunny through the introduction of his friend. After communicating with our boss, Mr. Liang, they gradually came to realize that to solve the current problem of powder product, the critical solution is to select proper powder grinding mill and apply proper chemical additives.
Actually, the calcium carbonate powder used for artificial marble are selected according to the distribution of powder granule of different sizes. That is to say, the proportion of powder granule of different fineness are fixed. Powder granule of large size, medium size and small size all have certain proportions respectively. So that the powder of different fineness can fit into the gaps of other materials fully to improve the toughness and compactness of the marble plank.
According the domestic experience of manufacturing calcium carbonate powder for artificial marble powder, the distribution demand of powder granule of different sizes is that the content of powder with the size of 2μm is 20%±2 ( tested by Malvern 2000 laser particle size analyzer ) The fineness of the powder produced by the Raymond mill of the customer cannot meet the demand. The shape of the powder granule is also irregular and the fluidity is poor. It only produces 6 to 7 tons of powder every hour which falls far behind the production ability of the grinding mill designed for artificial brick. The powder produced by out vertical grinding mill can bot only meet the relative demands. But the powder granule also features nice shape which resembles eclipse and high fluidity. If grinding marble mineral with the same fineness, the production of the vertical mill every hour can be 13 tons.
In addition, epoxy resin occupies a large proportion in the cost of the raw material of artificial marble plank. So the amount of epoxy resin becomes a key factor in controlling the cost of plank. But the fluidity of the powder produced by Raymond mill is rather poor. It also lacks proper additives during the process of grinding. So the amount of epoxy resin is always high which causes really high cost of the marble plank. The lack of price advantage deprives its ability of compete with the products imported from China. Our vertical grinding mill can not only lower the production cost of our customers, but also provide corresponding technical support. Compared with the Raymond mill used by the customer, our vertical grinding mill only consumes one fourth of the amount of epoxy resin Raymond mill consumes during the production of artificial brick which greatly saves the cost of epoxy resin thus lowering the production cost of the powder.
In the aspect of the material of the equipment, the wearing piece of our vertical grinding mill adopts imported high chrome alloy steel. The grinding roller is forged in integrated style. The lifetime of the grinding roller and the grinding table is long and they cause little pollution to the environment. The whole production process is fully sealed with inner cycle system. The most important point is that the power consumption is rather low.
